Greens can't win... 😔

In Amber Valley, we have 14 Green Councillors, and across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire we have even more!

This May, by voting Green again, you can make me the East Midlands first ever Mayor 💚

Don't believe the establishment, Greens can and do win 💪🏼

You can’t rip up the most progressive co-operation deal in the history of this parliament and expect business to continue as usual.

The Scottish Greens will continue to put people and planet first. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌍

Bristol Labour Group You’ve had 8 years to get a mass transit and rail done and you’ve managed to get weca and your planning service in special measures in that time.

A number of former Labour candidates are now standing for the Greens in Bristol. Disillusionment, factionalism and lack of support are just some reasons given for crossing the floor from Jai Breitnauer, Sibusiso Tshabalala, Shona Jemphrey and Jo Sergeant. bristol247.com/news-and-featu…

This shows why the The Labour Party announcement is good, but far from perfect.

The railway industry is a leaky boat, why pledge to fix the holes except for one?

Especially bizarre considering they'll abolish leasehold for being exploitative. Why not extend the same principle here?

I’m pleased Lou Haigh is confirming Labour will keep the policy of rail franchises returning to public ownership as they expire. This is good, economic common sense. LNER, Northern and TransPennine are already publicly owned. Others get taxpayer money to pay dividends.

A reminder that the ‘enormous cost’ of building the West Midlands Metro extension to Dudley is *half* the cost of ONE ROUNDABOUT in Bedfordshire.

The Renters’ Reform Bill no longer has the support of the Renters’ Reform Coalition - a group including Shelter, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Generation Rent because it…doesn’t actually give a date for the ban on Section 21 evictions which is…what it was designed to do

Tom Renhard Greens Councillor Tony Dyer states that they will invest in social housing and council housing as well as education. These are two of the most important themes for public investment. They want to improve engagement between communities and the council for a more inclusive city.

Those groups working for safer streets and reduced traffic fatalities in our region are not detecting any interest in the issue among the other PCC candidates.

This weekend I joined ~200 Bristolians on the family-friendly bike ride, complete with a sound system, creatively decorated bikes, and a serious message: that our streets need to be safe for us and our kids.
