On 28 Mar, Dep. Amb. Yoshimura attended the handover ceremony on METRAC (Mechanical Engineering Training and Advisory Centre) in Luwero together with Hon. Byamukama. The grant of USD 1.75m from 🇯🇵, through UNIDO, will contribute to road construction and maintenance in 🇺🇬🚜

On 26 Mar, Dep. Amb. Yoshimura signed the Exchange of Notes for 'Improvement of Medical Equipment at Regional Referral Hospitals' with Hon. Kasaija. The project budget is approx. USD 6.8m, Through JICA, the project is implemeted in Soroti and Jinja Regional Referral Hospitals🏥🤝

On 22 Feb, Amb. Fukuzawa signed the Exchange of Note with WFP_Uganda. The agreement is the donation of 2,000 mt Japanese rice to newly arriving refugees. Amb. Fukuzawa hopes that this support will contribute to mitigating food insecurity situation in the refugee settlements🍚🤝
