It’s been a great honor to serve as the Uzbekistan Ambassador to the U.S., Canada, and Brazil over the past years. As I step down from this role & return to Tashkent, I am proud of what we achieved - thank you all for your tremendous support and friendship I will always treasure.

Excellent meeting w/ Mayor Eric Adams Adams, a person who leads the most diverse city in the world, the heart of the U.S. Couldn't fail to stop by his office before I depart for Tashkent thanking him for being a wonderful host to 🇺🇿diplomatic corps in NYC & thousands of Uzbek Americans.

I was delighted to meet Jakhongir yesterday. His freedom is an indicator of some of the important progressive steps taken by the govt since my 2017 visit. I hope all stakeholders continue to play their crucial roles in building on the reforms of recent years.

Deeply honored to be welcomed at Blair House for the farewell as my time The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C. winds down. To stand alongside so many dignitaries from the U.S. Government is enormously humbling to me. Thank you all for your tremendous support and friendship I always felt.

Discussed education for girls with #US Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, Katrina Fotovat, including opportunities for online learning in #Afghanistan . She praised #Uzbekistan 's efforts to engage the Afghan girls in learning. Gender policy needs a regional approach.

Indeed, excellent discussion Peace Corps HQ in Washington, D.C. this afternoon. The U.S. Agency is ready to go to #Uzbekistan with its assessment team next month. We are keen on working together in achieving Shavkat Mirziyoyev's Press-service reform agenda targets focusing on improving education.

As my term in office ends, I met w/ Lisa Curtis, Eric Green, & Nicholas Berliner, Special Assistants to the U.S. President, to acknowledge their huge contribution to elevating Uzbekistan-the U.S. relations over the years. 🇺🇿 has always been & is still in good hands The White House.

Proud to represent #Uzbekistan at the United Nations Conf, where I highlighted the importance of preserving the #AralSea region and the role of culture and creativity in promoting sustainable development. A beautiful poem in #Karakalpak added to the cultural diversity of the event.
