And here's the ending they used in syndication, with no cliffhanger. There's more to it this sequence, but I'm sadly limited to 2 minutes. 273/

So the other day I tweeted about the Magnum/Simon & Simon crossover and how they shot two different endings. Here's the original, where Higgins fails to stop the con woman from getting on a plane to LA. 272/

A couple A-list thugs in this one! On the left is Donald Gibb, probably best known for the Revenge of the Nerds movies, on the right is Dick Durock, probably best known for playing Swamp Thing in the two live-action movies, and the 90s TV show. 270/

On this day in 1967, 78 million people tuned in to watch the finale of the TV show The Fugitive as Dr Richard Kimble finally caught up with The One Armed Man.
To put this into perspective, 78 million people is almost the entire population of Germany.

They’ve moved the location of Island Hoppers to the Makai Research Pier in this episode. Pretty sure this remains the location for the rest of the series. But two episodes ago, in the season premiere, Island Hoppers appeared to be based right near the Honolulu airport. 269/

Today’s lunchtime : “A crate addressed to Higgins yields a Japanese girl escaping from her father.” I remember almost nothing about this one. 268/

Friends, I discovered this over the weekend and it’s wonderful. Dennis Weaver narrates a gag reel / roast for The Rockford Files. Lotsa great behind-the-scenes footage, plus a cameo by Jack Klugman.
