It’s been such an honor to visit with leaders from National Health Systems Resource Centre, H & FW Dept Odisha, KISS - Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, USAID India & so many experts & supporters in India this week. I'm looking back on an incredible first few days & excited to continue to see Jhpiego's groundbreaking impact in action.

I met #Midwife Olin in rural Indonesia. Olin's story resonates: at her first birth ever, she collaborated with a traditional birth attendant to save a #momandbaby in a complex birth. Their partnership built trust. Today they work alongside local leaders to save lives.

Standing room only at a health center in Indonesia with incredible nurses, midwives and doctors whose demonstration of emergency #MNH skills was superb! I also loved meeting #Midwife Coordinator for Puskesmas Labuan Bajo, Karolina Olin Jemat. Dedicated. Committed. Skilled.
