The fact that the highest court in America is today hearing arguments from Republicans that a hospital shouldn't be compelled to give a woman an abortion in order to save her life - Literally. Save her life - should be a low point for us all.

I saw a poll today that shows both Republican candidates beating Shomari Figures in the CD2 race. Dick Brewbaker's campaign has polling showing it can beat Figures, but would struggle against Daniels. The Dems are on the verge of a major embarrassment.

It's worth noting how well Dems in Alabama do when voters don't have a straight ticket voting option and instead pick candidates based on issues. Lands lost this seat by 6 points to an unknown ALGOP newcomer in 22 due to the straight ticket option.

Teddy Powell has conceded. Marilyn Lands has won the HD10 race. Democrats have flipped an Alabama House seat, utilizing women's health care rights and expanding health care around the state.
