Remember every time you hear a politician speak of #refugees as invading their nation, they’re using the language, fear, hate and imagery of the Nazis. This is how they depicted Jewish refugees, as rats invading. How ever & especially in 2022 is this acceptable? #SuellaBraverman

The irony of the UK, a nation that has invaded and colonised more than half the world and is the largest supplier of arms globally, thus fuelling countless wars, calling refugees fleeing the global wars they’ve helped sustain as “invading” is just gobsmacking. #SuellaBraverman

Any Home Secretary with integrity would use temperate, judicious language.

But no. Suella Braverman just referred to an 'invasion on our southern coast' - disgusting, inflammatory & designed to whip up hate.

A reminder the current Australian Government has budgeted in #budget2022 the exact same amount of money to “support” people seeking asylum in community as Dutton and Morrison did.

In other words, they’ve left tens of thousands of people seeking asylum with zero income support.

One guy’s business plan for a $44 billion over-leveraged purchase is apparently to run around and individually ask people for $8.
