Ospreys are cracking birds, this one flying west over the west dunes was just the second I’ve seen here at Gibraltar Point this year. A nice opportunity to practice a bit of digiscoping too!

We had another good day Gibraltar Point NNR on Saturday. 63 species seen.
The local Barn Owl was out first thing. Our first Whimbrel of the year was mostly sleeping near a Curlew for handy comparison. This Avocet had a good preen before nodding off too.
