We had a great morning out looking for dragonflies and damselflies with the Avon Valley Farmer Cluster, 10 species seen on one relatively small farm! Thank you David Lock and Megan Lock for coming along to help! Turns out its also #dragonflyweek
Lapwing really are amazing parents. We managed to record a lapwing on our camera trap escorting her chicks away from the nest. Cameras were put out as part of my collaborative PhD with NERC GW4+ Doctoral Training Partnership, Game&WildConTrust, Waders For Real & Ryan Burrell .
