Bungule 20  is a fortified rockshelter that was used as a refuge  against raids by slave hunters and other enemies of the Kasigau people . The enclosure made of a dry stonewall supported by vertical wooden frames and has been used for at least 400 years.

Classée patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO, la cathédrale de Saint-Louis est la plus vieille église d’Afrique de l’Ouest. Bâtie en 1827 par le Baron Roger sous la bénédiction de l’abbé Girardon elle abrite les sépultures des deux évêques : Mgrs Prosper Dodds et Pierre Sagna.
