Wake up in the new year and overnight data has flowed from central computers to my server, analysis done, anomalies emailed to me, corrected and analysis completed, graphed and presented. All automated - happening at 3am... Lovely. (A few anomaly fixes by hand is all I do now)

I am sorry again!!! Everyone knows I analyse Aged Care COVID data every week. But just like last December, our govt has switched off the data reporting for holiday! While people die from COVID and outbreaks everywhere! Thats not what a health department is for TWO WEEKS NOW!

I am sorry this is not the strongest no more - but with the paucity of reporting we are left to model estimate. Using Victorian data (since mid October) and NSW/VIC prior.

Last week estimated 200 lives lost to COVID nationally.
