Ian, a Category 3 Hurricane emerged into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico in the last hour. As it tracks NNE toward central Florida, large swell related to it will generate max seas of 30 to 35 ft along its path. Seas at 12 to 16 ft will extend westward to south of New Orleans.
