As part of her wider trip to Northern Ireland Felicity Buchan MP visited Camlough Lake where we have invested £2.8m from the Levelling Up Fund to create a new recreation centre, boost tourism and give local people new opportunities.

Today Minister Buchan visited a Women’s Aid centre in Northern Ireland. The centre in Newry was given £350,000 from our Community Ownership Fund. The Minister heard about the development of the Young ELEOS Programme, which will make a real difference to the lives of young people.

It marks the operational establishment of the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR).

The UK are investing £730m into the PEACE PLUS programme, where the SEUPB have announced new funding for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

These services will provide vital support for young people across Northern Ireland and border counties of Ireland.
