This week, co-facilitators Neville and Ambassador Antje Leendertse 🇩🇪🇺🇳 had the opportunity to update colleagues in Geneva on the Pact for the future. Encouraging to note the high interest and active engagement on the Summit of the Future.

We were honored to discuss with Member State signatories  #Namibia and #Germany – also acting as co-facilitators of the Summit of the Future – to identify how Compact signatories can support the inclusion of action-focused language on #WPS into the #PactForTheFuture .

During #CSW68 , Member State signatories came together to discuss the Summit of the Future and the inclusion of #WomenPeaceSecurity and gender-responsive #HumanitarianAction in the #PactfortheFuture .

A very fruitful meeting with the United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on the upcoming appointment of a #UN #Water Envoy.

With the agreement on the methodology for the Envoy’s appointment, the selection and appointment process will now be fully in motion.
