There is a growing problem of transphobia across the UK which needs to be challenged.

We need GP services fit for the future. Another report with solutions to the healthcare crisis.

Stabilising our workforce, attracting more into GP roles will have better outcomes for all.

These statistics are shocking- over 172% rise in waiting figures.

This is creating a two tier health system & exacerbating health inequalities.

As a member of health cttee I will continue to push for actions plans and hold the Minister to account. Children should not wait.

Great meeting with Barbara Roulston from Cancer Research UK yesterday!

The Cancer Strategy was published in 2022 and unfortunately progress has been slow. While financial constraints are understandable there are opportunities for quick progress, such as the Cancer Research Strategy.

This afternoon I raised my concerns about the risk to burials posed by ongoing work in the bog meadows in Milltown Cemetery.

I am continuing to call of the Catholic Church and DfC to urgently halt any work - our loved ones deserve to rest in peace.

Many have been in touch re: Milltown cemetery baby graves. There are many personal stories that touch this issue & others.

We know the way in which women were treated before & after loss of a child was shameful. Thanks to all who've shared, your voices shall not be forgotten.

As well as stillborn babies, those who died by suicide and babies from Belfast's mother and baby home are buried in or near this site.

I have contacted the South Eastern Trust to request further clarity on this.

Encompass could be a useful tool for the health service, but implementation has led to extremely concerning delays - any issues must be ironed out before the system is rolled out across all trusts.

5 years on, we are still waiting for progress on significant parts of the Stroke Action Plan.

Danny Donnelly MLA and I will continue to raise this with the Minister to ensure the necessary work is undertaken to transfer stroke care in NI.
