Measuring depth of Lateral Femoral Notch Sign (LFNS) by Lat Knee Radiograph is reliable predictor for Dx of ACL injury in ACUTE setting & can be used by clinicians in patients with acute knee trauma.
♦️A depth of > 1.0 mm : a good predictor of ACL injury)

Muscles that make up the anterior compartment of thigh are sartorius & quadriceps femoris muscles (rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, vastus intermedius).

Psoas major & iliacus muscles also pass into the upper aspect of the anterior compartment.

Differentiating between intersection syndrome and de Quervain’s disease
and identification of ulnar styloid process and extensor carpi ulnaris is very important & in this regard clinical exam is very helpful 👍

With regard to rotator cuff tendon tears, the terms “partial-thickness”(partial) and “full-thickness” (complete) do NOT state (as is often erroneously assumed) whether the rupture involves the entire tendon or only a part of the tendon!

Peripheral dermatomes & key muscles of the most important lumbosacral
nerve roots. However, keep in mind that the muscles also receive contributions from other nerves (e.g., the extensor digitorum longus is innervated mainly by L5, but also from L4 and S1).

Signs of Osteoarthritis of the Hip illustrated👍

Periosteal thickening at femoral neck ➡️Wibergʼs sign.

If femoral head migrates intoacetabulum with increasing depth of joint socket ➡️ protrusio acetabuli

Migration of femoral head in lateral direction ➡️: decentralizing OA

Movement of C-spine involves combination of uncovertebral & zygapophyseal motion.

During neck flexion, zygapophyseal & uncovertebral joints glide in a combined superior, lateral& anterior direction.

During neck extension, joints glide in a combined inferior, medial&post direction

🟥Schematic images of SUPERFICIAL VENOUS anatomy of lower extremities.

✔️Innumerable subcutaneous tiny venules join to form minor veins that eventually drain into 2 main lower extremity superficial veins: great & small saphenous veins (GSV) & (SSV).
