We must continue to center the voices of those incarcerated. Big thanks to Families for Justice as Healing & Prisoners' Legal Services of Massachusetts for your organizing!

Each year in prison removes 2 years from someone's life expectancy. Incarcerated people in their 50s exhibit sickness & disability at a rate equal to those in their 70s & 80s who have not been incarcerated. We must free our elders, #FreeThemAll , & invest in #HealthNotPunishment .

Yesterday, our Health Instead of Punishment Program Director, Christine Mitchell, testified at the MA State House in support of S1547/H2397 - An Act relative to Parole Review for Aging Incarcerated People. MA has the largest population of elders incarcerated in the US.
