This was certainly true for me. I didn't think I was 'disabled enough' or 'the right type of disabled' because I have an autoimmune disease that goes through remission and relapse. The census changes would exclude millions of people like me.

Idk who needs to read this but you’re disabled enough.

If your symptoms flare up multiple times a day, once a day, once a week, once a month, depending on the season, if needs a certain trigger.

You’re enough even if it’s dormant at the moment. You’re enough!

BTW, one common experience by many disabled & chronically ill people is that they don’t think they are disabled enough to identify as one.
