It is very much worth it to decrease transmissions.

We decrease transmissions by wearing good masks while sharing air with others indoors. Testing negative to exit isolation. Staying home when sick, for duration of +ve rapid tests. Cleaning the air. Being up to date on vaccines.

Non-public health people may understand our extreme levels of frustration with CDC over their failure to act to stop the spread of Covid if they become familiar with how it approaches other infectious disease: when it wants to communicate clearly it certainly can can

Really disappointed with the number of doctors on here claiming masks cause speech delay in children with zero evidence.
If you have something to back up your claims, show it.

What happens after you assess your own COVID risk, realize you are apart of the 40% of Americans at high-risk, then try to protect yourself?
You cry, because you realize that you alone cannot protect yourself, you need your community to step up to protect you.

Telling people who are concerned to “just wear a mask yourself” is NOT adequate because “one way masking” is not even possible at places like the DMV, dentists, and other healthcare providers where people are forced to remove their own masks.

Why does CDC continue to promote 2 different COVID maps? If we’re endeavoring to do things better, how about retiring the misleading map on the left.

We know what we need, they just don't want to do it.

How do I know they don't want to do it? If they wanted to do it, they'd have done it.
