MTXG’s Yankee Squadron takes another step closer to becoming operational. They have recently conducted Sea Trials on the SeaCat UUV. MASTT are concurrently conducting trials on the new MMCM class of Uncrewed Surface Vessels with the Towed Synthetic Aperture Sonar.

As we bring our first stint on the Clyde to a close, we have had a brilliant couple of weeks integrating with HMMB Clyde, HMS Neptune & Mine & Threat Exploitation Group (MTXG), culminating with mission team personnel & equipment embarking in Stirling Castle for training.

Next we head to FOST Royal Navy ⚓️

Autonomous minehunting operations have a taken a step forward thanks to the hard work and efforts of Mine & Threat Exploitation Group (MTXG)'s Mission System Team 3. They have spent the past 12 months running trials and ops on the Clyde to test a range of new equipment and tech.

On our recent patrol in the Gulf we spotted a Loggerhead turtle 🐢 entangled in fishing gear. We launched a sea boat 🚤and managed to remove the floats and nets wrapped around its neck before disposing of the material and setting the turtle free. 🌊
