After 6y of hard work on #seabirds in #CaboVerde , we have a intense week ahead in the workshop for the final evaluation of the project #Conservation of seabird in Cabo Verde funded by MAVA Foundation & coordinated by BirdLife. Hard to summarize in a few pages so many achievements!

I diverge from seabirds for one post. It’s been a while since anything melted my heart, but today this little lady turned me squidgy all over. Congratulations Annemarie and Ross for your beautiful Eloise.

Hard to put into words today's experience. Hearing the words “BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER BRYHER” over the radio. Then on a boat, a “wet landing” and then this legendary bird is there in my viewfinder. People hugging, cheering and smiling everywhere. This is why I love Scilly.
