Pupils shared experiences of the school’s approach to supporting a range of career pathways to meet their ambitions.

Mobile phones in schools, attendance and qualification reform were also discussed.

Scotland’s universities should be accessible to all.

Free tuition fees mean that, unlike elsewhere in the UK, Scottish students studying in Scotland do not incur additional debts of up to £27,750.

Eligible undergraduate students can now choose to receive their financial support payments over 12 months from the 2024-25 academic year.

This will ensure they can continue to access funds through the summer months.

Staff delivering funded early learning and childcare are to receive at least £12 an hour.

Guidance, backed by £16 million Scottish Government funding, will support childminders and staff in the private, voluntary and independent sectors to receive the increase.

@ScotGov has provided extra funding to secure the jobs of 27 staff working for the Gaelic Community officers scheme.

It will allow Bòrd na Gàidhlig to maintain the officers who work to promote the Gaelic language and culture.
