The University of Nottingham community joins the Royal Family and the nation in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Flags will be flown at half-mast across the university’s campuses and books of condolence will open on all campuses from Friday 9 September.

This is very sad news. Professor Yang Fujia was Chancellor of Uni of Nottingham #WeAreUoN for 12 years from 2001 and a significant figure in the life of the University as well as being instrumental in the establishment of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
