WH official says Second Gentleman Emhoff spoke today with survivors of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting including Rabbi Jeffrey Myers as they mark the 4th anniversary of the deadly attack.

Our partnership between the United States and Israel is deep and enduring.

Yesterday, President Biden welcomed President יצחק הרצוג Isaac Herzog of Israel to the White House to discuss the enduring strength of the U.S.-Israel partnership, ways to further deepen cooperation between the two countries, and the United States’ unshakeable commitment to Israel’s security.

Four years ago, 11 lives were taken and 6 more injured at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the deadliest act of antisemitism in American history.

May the memories of those we lost be a blessing. And may we never stop fighting the scourges of antisemitism, hate, and gun violence.

The Jewish community is facing an epidemic of hate. We must all stand united and speak out against antisemitism. No person of any faith should have to fear violence because of what they believe.

In honor of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth Sharsheret’s CEO Elana Silber joined Jill Biden for the launch of a series of roundtables with American Cancer Society. Sharsheret is doing such important work to support Jewish women living with breast and ovarian cancer.
