At last some good news on the delivery of the pedestrian crossing for Maghaberry.
I first worked on this in 2019 when I was in Council & recently chased again after being contacted by residents.
Delighted to hear it’s finally to be installed!

Enforcement is crucial to ensure that this does not continue and children are protected from the harms of tobacco 👇

There's just something so absolutely hideous, violating & terrifying about the infected blood scandal. The fact that trust was violated, you were vulnerable as you needed blood, the cover ups, families stonewalled. And not just in this, but other health scandals too. Frightening.

This just took my breath away. Colin John Smith. This beautiful, precious angel. Colin died when he was just 7, he contracted AIDS from contaminated blood that was used to treat his haemophilia. A staggering, heartbreaking, shocking scandal of violation and loss of life.
