Congrats to Homeland Security Investigations and U.S. Department of Justice for the 2nd conviction under our torture statute. A U.S. citizen was sentenced to 70 years for torturing an Estonian in Iraq. We salute the courage of the victim to tell his story, making the conviction possible.
