This week I chaired a lively meeting of Steel APPG. We heard from experts WMG about how Britain - including Port Talbot - can lead the way in green steel.

But this will only happen if UK Govt understand the urgent need to invest in green transition & step up to the plate

In my role as Chair of the All-Party Group on Steel I have written to Prime Minister Liz Truss, highlighting the vital role steel plays in our economy and asking her to set out her plans for a strong, competitive and sustainable British steel industry in the decades ahead.
