What an experience Zhi, the value of travel can not be overstated. Marc Besselink was such a generous host! We need to find a way to increase robotic training for all of our trainees, trying to do so at Brigham and Women’s Department of Surgery. I will have robotic whipples lined up for your return!

There is a lot of knowledge & perspective to be gained from traveling abroad professionally. But opportunities are expensive & challenging logistically.

Important thread Shiva- very important for surgeons to closely participate in care of these patients. Some will still need surgery, many input of pancreatic surgeons, important for our trainees to be facile in care of this population.
