It would be remiss of me not to mention that Samuel Beckett was born #OTD in 2006 - my portrait of him hangs in the The Hist Trinity College Dublin - I am proud to have been elected the vice president of the officially recognised oldest student society and debating society the world!

Well done to Grace and Juliet who took 2nd place in the Leinster Schools Debating Final in Trinity on Tuesday night.  Over 100 teams took part this year so this was a great achievement by the girls. 👏🤩

I'll be discussing the position in international human rights law and Irish law on trade union political activity, and the relationship between trade unions and democracy

So honoured to have met Nathan Law, Hong Kong activist & politician, at the Hist today where he was awarded a gold medal. He spoke passionately about the cause for democracy & freedom in Hong Kong & around the world, & what diasporic Hongkongers can do to preserve our identity.

I was delighted to be the first Albanian to receive a Gold Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Public Discourse on behalf of the College Historical Society at Trinity College Dublin The Hist was founded in 1770 by Edmund Burke so it’s twice as old as us but no less friendly😊🇦🇱

Huge thanks to The Hist Trinity VDP TCD Law Colloquium for inviting me to talk about the immense challenges and rewards of movement lawyering, and the privilege of working alongside so many survivors of Ireland’s institutions & family separation system.
