Trump fell asleep in court AGAIN today. But it's still a quick social media post or a slight mention in a news story. I know there's A LOT of news but it sure seems like there is an active effort to NOT do any serious reporting on this issue.

Again, the courthouse is open the public. The park outside, where a handful of his supporters have gathered on trials days, is easily accessible.

Due to Trump attorney's concessions in Supreme Court oral argument, there's now a very clear path for DOJ's case to go forward.

It'd be a travesty for Justices to delay matters further.

With the caveat that Justice Barrett is sometimes less predictable based on argument than her colleagues, this strikes me as most likely to be correct—especially that this likely comes down to Roberts, who was quite coy during today’s arguments.

Justice Alito suggests that, if former presidents are subject to prosecution after leaving office, they'll be more likely to seek to unlawfully remain in office after they were defeated for re-election/their term has ended.
