Too many people have bought the GOP myth that Social Security is not sustainable.

If we eliminate the Social Security tax limit (currently around $168K) it is solvent in perpetuity.

The best, most simple thing we can do to solve a lot of our problems is to have two, two-term Democratic presidents back to back. We’re not going to make any real progress by following this cycle of disastrous Republican presidencies followed by a Democrat having to fix it.

What Trump is proposing would simultaneously be the single biggest tax cut for the rich and the single biggest tax hike on everyone else in US history

The bottom ~40% of Americans currently pay zero (or negative) federal income tax. Presumably they would have to pay Trump's proposed tariffs though.
So this sounds like a huge tax increase on the lower/middle income classes
