The #Belarus regime must be held accountable for the lives and health of all political prisoners. Lukashenka will answer for every act of torture and every breach of basic rights. We can't rest until everyone unlawfully detained is freed and the real criminals face justice.

I've decided to stop ridiculing Lukashenka (at least for today); he's already doing a good job of that himself. Each word he speaks only reveals more about his regime's true nature. Let's focus on building a future where freedom speaks louder than folly & truth wins over lies!

Heartbroken to see images of the evacuation of a children's hospital in #Kyiv due to threats made by the dictator Lukashenka's KGB cronies. No one will be safe as long as these Putin-allied terrorists remain in power in our country. The people of #Belarus stand with Ukraine!

Honored to visit Norway next week at the invitation of the 🇳🇴 government to strengthen our ties. We'll discuss sanctions against the regime & support for political prisoners, free media & civil society. 🇳🇴 is a strong ally & steadfast supporter of both 🇺🇦 & the people of Belarus.

One year ago, political prisoner Viktar Babaryka was taken from prison to the hospital showing signs of a severe beating. Instead of allowing access to family members & lawyers, the regime has been hiding him ever since. We haven't heard from him in a year & must fear the worst.

Together with ambassadors from our democratic allies, I laid flowers at the memorial for the victims of the Chornobyl disaster in Vilnius today. It was a great tragedy for the people of 🇺🇦 & #Belarus , but also for the whole world. Chornobyl must never be allowed to repeat itself!

Defending human rights is hard and dangerous, and most of the time, the work is invisible. Today, as we mark Viasna's anniversary, let us celebrate the thousands of Belarusians who, at great risk, continue to fight for human rights despite the regime's brutal repressions.

Congratulations to the brave human rights defenders at Viasna on the 28th anniversary of their founding. Five Viasna activists, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski, are now behind bars in #Belarus for defending human rights. They must be set free. #FreeViasna

Today is the 38th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy, which affected almost all Belarusians. Now, the regime is turning our country into a humanitarian Chornobyl. We are fighting for a future without nuclear weapons or unsafe nuclear plants in #Belarus —and without dictatorship.

Today, the #Belarus regime is conducting a new fake trial against my husband Siarhei. My kids haven't seen him for 4 years & for more than a year, I don't even know if he is alive. I hoped to see him today, but the cowardly regime has decided to conduct this farce in his absence.

I want to thank Seimas | #StandWithUkraine for the important decision not to impose additional restrictions on the movement of Belarusians. It’s a vital message that you separate the European people of #Belarus & the criminal pro-Russian Minsk regime. We should isolate Lukashenka, not the people.

Talking about the regime's lies, did you hear about the drone attack on Minsk? No? Neither did anyone else — except the dictator. It seems he has exclusive access to an alternative reality that we can't see. Maybe he actually started to believe his own nonsense & disinformation.

Now we heard from the dictator Lukashenka that life has never been better in #Belarus . Meanwhile, in the real world, we continue to fight for the basic freedoms that he has denied our people for three decades. Belarusians see the difference between reality & the dictator's lies.
