This Labor Day, let us stand in solidarity with the leaders & activists of Belarusian trade unions. Two years ago, the major free trade unions in #Belarus were dissolved & leaders imprisoned. Today, we must support them by continuing the fight for justice & workers' rights.

Finished my visit to Oslo by meeting with Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. I'm proud to have 🇳🇴 as our ally, friend & partner. We agreed to launch an international humanitarian fund to support political prisoners & their families, 🇳🇴 making the first contribution of 850k euros.

The fight against dictatorship is also an information war against propaganda & disinformation. Dictators use media as a weapon to spread terror. That's why we need technology companies on our side—so that they serve the truth, not dictators with their hate & lies. #WordsMatter

Takk, Norge! As the first country, 🇳🇴 has committed 10 million NOK (850K Euro) to our new humanitarian fund for political prisoners in #Belarus . I am thankful to Norway for taking the lead & demonstrating strong commitment. I hope that more countries will follow Norway's example.

The #Belarus regime must be held accountable for the lives and health of all political prisoners. Lukashenka will answer for every act of torture and every breach of basic rights. We can't rest until everyone unlawfully detained is freed and the real criminals face justice.

I've decided to stop ridiculing Lukashenka (at least for today); he's already doing a good job of that himself. Each word he speaks only reveals more about his regime's true nature. Let's focus on building a future where freedom speaks louder than folly & truth wins over lies!

Heartbroken to see images of the evacuation of a children's hospital in #Kyiv due to threats made by the dictator Lukashenka's KGB cronies. No one will be safe as long as these Putin-allied terrorists remain in power in our country. The people of #Belarus stand with Ukraine!

Honored to visit Norway next week at the invitation of the 🇳🇴 government to strengthen our ties. We'll discuss sanctions against the regime & support for political prisoners, free media & civil society. 🇳🇴 is a strong ally & steadfast supporter of both 🇺🇦 & the people of Belarus.

One year ago, political prisoner Viktar Babaryka was taken from prison to the hospital showing signs of a severe beating. Instead of allowing access to family members & lawyers, the regime has been hiding him ever since. We haven't heard from him in a year & must fear the worst.
