Ambassador Mel Barlow visited Lao Disabled Women's Development Center yesterday. She was pleased to learn more about their skills training programme and work to increase understanding of disability rights in the provinces, all while making jewellery under their expert guidance.

The UK has provided £1.9 million to organisations clearing UXO in Laos for 2024-25.

UK aid is getting in to Gaza.

By land, by sea, and by air – we are working with our international partners to reach those in need.

A Royal Navy ship will help get life-saving UK aid into Gaza as part of an international effort to set up a humanitarian maritime corridor in early May.

We are also pledging £9.7 million for aid, equipment and expertise to help set up the maritime corridor from Cyprus to Gaza.

NATO has never been stronger.

With Ukraine closer to the Alliance than ever, we must sustain the support they need to win the war.

This means spending more, producing more and delivering more on defence.
