World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with The Gov't of Japan supported 30 nutrition stabilization centres across the flood-affected districts of Pakistan with provision of human resources, equipment, supplies, essential medicines, and therapeutic food.
Following the catastrophic floods in 2022, World Health Organization (WHO) with the support from The Gov't of Japan has refurbished 287 healthfacilities, labour rooms to ensure healthcare equity & resilience in the flood-affected districts of Pakistan.
With the support of The Gov't of Japan, World Health Organization (WHO) responded to malaria outbreak in flood-affected areas by conducting indoor residual spraying in 7 high endemic districts of Sindh andBalochistan.
