Following the catastrophic floods in 2022, World Health Organization (WHO) with the support from The Gov't of Japan has refurbished 287 healthfacilities, labour rooms to ensure healthcare equity & resilience in the flood-affected districts of Pakistan.

With the support of The Gov't of Japan, World Health Organization (WHO) responded to malaria outbreak in flood-affected areas by conducting indoor residual spraying in 7 high endemic districts of Sindh andBalochistan.

Through The Gov't of Japan’s vital support, World Health Organization (WHO) provided basic and emergency obstetric and neonatal care equipment to 143 labour rooms, 36 C-section facilities, 9 Kangaroo mother care centres and 16 neonatal ICUs in the flood-affected districts.
