After learning some deaf patients had difficulty at appointments, Gill lead a project to improve our services for patients with a hearing and visual impairment, collaborating with the deaf community on every step.

Time to celebrate - the rollout of #Nucleus is complete!

Nucleus is mobile software that's improving care for our adult inpatients. It reduces the need for paperwork, meaning staff can spend more time with patients, and keeps clinical documentation up to date and accessible.

Star Award finalist: York ICU Team 🌟

The team were nominated by the relative of a patient who was shown 'compassion and professionalism' at the end of their life.

They did everything to make the patient and their loved ones feel comfortable, showing sympathy at every step.

A new neonatal transitional care unit has opened at York Hospital 👶

The unit provides an additional space for small or premature babies to stay with their mothers, instead of being separated and admitted to the #neonatal unit.
