Breaking: Joe Biggs sentenced to 17 years in prison for his role on Jan. 6 as a top lieutenant in the Proud Boys. Judge Kelly notes that's 10 years below the bottom of the guidelines range.

Sentencing guidelines just calculated for Joe Biggs, the first of the Proud Boys to be sentenced, are 324 to 405 months. That includes a 10 year maximum for destruction of a fence outside the Capitol, which the judge decided to be an act of terrorism.
