Can’t argue with most of this but puzzled by the exclusion of Alexandra Bell . An Olympic finalist, has run 1.57 and clocked 1.59 the other night in Tooting. Also beat the athlete selected ahead of her in the trials. Hmm.

As someone trying to focus on the 800 this year, it was really cool to see Alexandra Bell's session yesterday, talk about my racing and to join for a warm down.
Athletics is such an equalising sport - I don't believe there's any other where something like that would happen.
