As Astra Taylor and Leah Hunt-Hendrix point out (in their fantastic book), this is a tactic commonly used to deflate solidarity across movements. The goal being to prevent formation of a mass 'collective'. Shameful.

I can't stop thinking about how those brave kids reporting from WKCR at Columbia last night won't graduate into an industry that values that sort of work, but instead is structured to produce propaganda and drivel like this
