Easy to sympathise with these vox-pop views collected by Daily Mail. The proposals make plans submitted for #LiverpoolStreetStation look tame!

🏭 The site is an Historic England project, which showcases the great contribution by Shrewsbury to the world of manufacturing and innovation.
'The plans will demolish much of the listed sympathetic 20th-century trainshed, severing the link between the two listed Victorian buildings, and cantilevering a 20-storey tower above the hotel and station. This is unprecedented over a Grade-II* listed building.'
