I'm fuming that a group is handing out 'No Skyscrapers in Oakville' flyers at Bronte GO station this morning. The consequence of building super-low density sprawl is the need for high density around key nodes like GO stations. You can't have it both ways: Oakville needs to grow.

Kate Willett Right now, government does a LOT to subsidize sprawl and hide the cost of that from city budgets. There's a lot of tweaking of taxes that would reveal the true cost of single family zoning.

This segment absolutely nails the war on LGBTQ people by the right. They are pushing bills that would ban LGBTQ people from public life and criminalize their existence while engaging in outright eliminationist rhetoric.

Cautiously waiting to see what the actual bill has in it but if this is true this is something Tory should must ever once of fight in him to fight

Our child desperately needs catch-up assistance. $250 does not help. It's literally just a bribe and furthers the damage to the public school system.

I do not want this money. It’s for the school system. My kids do not need to “catch up in school,” and if they did, then giving me $250 to spend on them “catching up in school” would be the poorest way to achieve that.

One 'anti-woke' trustee decided to run out of spite. He wouldn't accept his own trans child, so he's running for school board to make life difficult for all trans children. Wouldn't it have been easier to just support and love your child unconditionally?
