UPDATE: The Parliament of Uganda has passed the Non-Governmental Organizations (Amendment) Bill, 2024 - amending several sections of the NGO Act, 2016.
The amendment dissolves the Board of the National Bureau for NGOs and merges/mainstreams the Bureau as a department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Uganda
