We’re moving full speed ahead and excited to announce Siemens Mobility as our manufacturer for the Brightline West train sets. This partnership will include a fleet of 10 “American Pioneer 220” train sets, the first true high-speed train sets to be built in America.

Borealis service will compliment the Empire Builder over this corridor by extending one current CHI-MKE Hiawatha RT to St. Paul. Currently, the train will not continue to Minneapolis, but may reach there (and beyond) eventually. One step at a time...
