I'm sure this book will end with hope and positivity but I'm half way through and it makes for horrific reading. We really are sleepwalking into insect apocalypse. Even with me being pretty insect and environmentally aware, this great book is still hitting me hard 😭 Oliver Milman

Two of my favourite plants for #wildflowerhour #DaisyFamily. Bottom Blue Fleabane & top Carline Thistle which was once known as ‘boar’s throat’ because the prickly flowers were thought to resemble the rough hair around a boar’s neck 🐗 I prefer my name of ‘jam tart plant’!😉😄
