So glad @fivexmore_ hve included the HG topic in their awareness week as honestly !

Having experienced HG 4 times, I'm glad to see the progress that has been made to support families through it & to inform professionals on how to care for us

Deja view. I was just about to retweet this⬇️ query but then thought I'd found it! But what I'd found was 2023 evaluation focused on *nursing*- PNA - programme. Is there anything similar evaluating midwifery - PMA- programme (especially against consumer expectations)? Lia Brigante

🧵Today, after five years as CNO for England and a career in the NHS for almost 40 years, I have announced that I will be retiring later this year. My role as CNO has, undoubtedly, been the highlight of my career in the NHS and has been a privilege.

Would some of the assertions and accepted “truths” of the social sciences be different if the supporting research had been based on repeat interviews rather than single ones?

Read this open-access article by

Charlie Jones This resonates for me with respect to maternity. Perhaps because they are the macro/ micro way of talking about the same thing? In maternity, the transformation/
improvement needed is exactly as you describe (hence frequent focus on relational care as key).

Has it been released yet….. no. What happened to openness, transparency, accountability. Can it really take this long to gain approval to release a commissioned report? Perhaps this is a symptom of a dysfunctional system.

Patient saw eight GPs before cancer diagnosed.

Patients are at risk of having serious health conditions missed because of a lack of continuity of care provided by GPs, the NHS safety watchdog says.

Is the NHS a top-down national service organised locally, or a bottom-up arrangement of local health systems managed nationally?

In my paper for SP&A as part of I explore this using the North West of England as a case study.

Define 'all', please James Sanderson. I also read this: 'We have been informed by [our NHS Trust] that funding for our [] Community Wellbeing Programme will end on 31 March 2024. This means that x's Social Prescribing service will close on 31 March 2024.'
