There are/might be some legitimate uses of AI for SOME disabled folk but we need to be VERY careful with arguments that often-cynically use disability to ward off legitimate critiques of technology. A lot of these arguments are just able-bodied people cripwashing new technologies

Colleges and universities would be in a much better space if protests and encampments were viewed as co-curricular learning spaces for students.

The survey of nearly 3,000 faculty members found that about 70% of respondents are dissatisfied w/ the political atmosphere around higher ed & about 55% of survey respondents are disappointed in their school’s admin for “not adequately defending academic freedom & tenure.”

Every student who’s had an English class at my school has seen this on repeat. I guarantee you at least one graduate’s told their professors they don’t know what a paragraph is 😂🤣
