8-year-old Yasamin lost control of her legs while her family fled bombardments in Afghanistan’s Herat province.

With financial support from the EU, Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion provides her with physiotherapy and psychosocial sessions.

She is now also back in school. 📚

The Council has approved conclusions on humanitarian aid in which it:

✅ calls for better protection in humanitarian settings

✅ recalls that the aim of EU humanitarian aid is to provide a needs-based emergency response

A ground offensive on Rafah is totally unacceptable❗️

At today's 6th Senior Officials Meeting on Yemen, Commissioner Janez Lenarčič announced new EU humanitarian funding of €125 million for the country.

The funding will help address people's most pressing needs amid the ongoing crisis and escalating tensions in the region. ↓

As #Yemen approaches a decade of devastating conflict, it is yet again the innocent population who continues to suffer the most. While a political solution is crucial, it is our duty to provide emergency aid and ensure sustained support by humanitarian & development communities.
