I was gifted a clump of #Crocus gargaricus in Feb and I noticed something else appearing out of it a couple of weeks later. Last week this gorgeous #Dicentra cucullaria (Dutchman’s Breeches) shot up & is now flowering. Glorious!

My thoughts on the needs/wants of the use of native #plants in #gardens & #plantingschemes in Pro Landscaper
Well-intentioned, but often ill thought through and doesn’t plan for the future. Controversial, but an important topic to discuss as we plan for a changing #climate .
Good luck to everyone who is competing @thecaley #SpringShow tomorrow and Sunday at #SaughtonPark #Edinburgh
If you find yourself in Edinburgh this weekend pop over to the park to see the display and get involved. All welcome. Please Share!

Rosa richardii ‘The Holy Rose’ (Rosa Sancta),
fragrant Species Rose.
Discovered in Abyssinia, 1897.
Looks like a day of ‘sunny spells and blustery showers’ for many of us. Whatever the weather, take care and have a good day.
