Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Leafs legend Ron Ellis. Following a remarkable hockey career, Ron joined the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992 and served through to 2019. His grace both on and off the ice will be missed but never forgotten.

Sam Girard was hiding it all, but he was waging a war and he was losing. He managed it as best he could until he couldn’t anymore.

An incredibly sad day. Ron was a very special person. He worked for Hockey Hall of Fame from 1992, the year before the Hall moved to its current location at Yonge and Front streets, until 2019. He will be missed. Condolences to Jan and his family.
