i still have a lot to learn and i love when a person can school me on some things. i don’t have all the answers and that’s why i’m here on earth to search for the answers. everyday there’s a new awakening and opportunity to grow. i never get too comfortable.

Disengage from those who are committed to ignorance.

Instead of debating with them you can continue developing you.

it is a credit to your character that you do not understand why people do unkind things. so instead of despairing over and picking apart someone’s lack of compassion and consideration towards you, celebrate the fact that yours is abundant enough to never treat people that way.

Awakening is reverse engineering yourself back to the template of you that came before the experiences, distortions, and falsehoods. It’s unlearning all of the ways you’ve moved away from being yourself, and resetting back to divine factory settings.

there’s a way to prioritize your individual goals and still prioritize the one you love. don’t try to convince me otherwise. anything less is settling.

It's okay that your journey does not look like anyone else's. Your growth is your own, and you're doing great. You are making so much progress, so don't invalidate yourself by focusing so much on someone else. Just try to be better than you were yesterday and continue to elevate.

Boundaries are spiritual protection.

You deserve to be filled in the same ways you pour.

God has given me so much and brought me through so much. i’m just trying to piece the rest of the puzzle together at this point. i pray and meditate on this daily. i pray for guidance daily.

Once you’re sure of yourself and intentional about your assignment, you can’t even pretend to entertain anything or anyone who is not also sure of and intentional with you.

when you set a boundary with emotionally unsafe people, they will usually confirm why you had to do that. their reaction may be harmful, it may trigger you. if you have a safe space or the luxury of having a therapist, it’s important that you talk through your feelings with them.

Pay attention to this chapter of your life. Everything that's happening is preparing you for everything you've asked for. Take notes. Journal about the confusion, pain, stuckness, and fears. These times will be your testimony and the medicine you'll get to share with the world.

There are people who plotted against you who still can’t believe you survived.

no matter how deep you fall, let your rope of hope & faith be long enough to hold onto.

healthy relationships still require effort. healthy friendships still require effort. healthy business relationships still require effort. you can prioritize your own needs and still be a mindful and intentional adult.

Sometimes being humble makes people think they can take advantage of you.

sometimes someone’s energy doesn’t sit right with you because of things you need to work on. sometimes it’s saying something about you. not them.

please be patient and gentle with you.

we need more platonic intimacy. we need more cuddles. we need more hand holding. we need more sharing. we need more “i got you.” we need more listening. we need more “i see you.” we need more support in order to feel full.

The more you choose yourself, the more others will choose too. Stop waiting for validation. Work on yourself first. Before you enter a relationship make sure you're balanced and centered, so you know what you want and deserve. Loving yourself changes who you attract.
